so this week callie and rakell caught another snake... this being probably the 10th or so of the summer, its a tiny baby its actually kinda cute in its own right and i did something i never thought i would do and havent in all of my 28 yrs i touched it. lol callie thinks its funny when she is holding it to act like she is going to throw it on me and say catch, SO not funny! she named him handsome i thought that was so cute.

Back from "Nowyhee" back to the grind

We had an amazing vacation we got to go parasailing, snorkeling and callie and mckay got to swim with the manta rays. It was so great but its great to be home as well. We have a super busy schedule this year, mondays callie has dance from 3-4 they both have gymnastics from 4-5 wednesdays callie has dance from 4:15 to 5:15 thursday rakell has dance at 10 am they both have school 12 -3 so getting them to these places with both babies (kennadee and mia) is going to be an adventure plus callie will also have saturday dance for the production number... It will be good to stay busy but a challenge none the less. Part of why I wanted to start this is so that i would remember all the cute and funny little things that happen from day to day that so easily slip my mind.. the other day rakell came in our room and we were hugging and talking and she came and said "why are you guys hugging each chudder?" haha we were laughing so hard, i love how she talks. I cant beleive she is in school and callie is in kindergarten now life flies by when you arent looking. All we can do is hope to be the best we can be and hope to make each day better than the one before it. I struggle with patience and my temper and with feeling like i have no identity outside of being mommy... i have to every now and then get out for a bit and then by the time i get home i miss them and appreceate them so much more. It is bound to be a crazy and exciting year and i am looking forward to all the wonderful things that are in store for us

this is us in a nutshell

starting this out again

i had a blog before but couldnt figure out how to get back on it so here we go again. lets start out by saying it is august 2010 i am 28 mckay is 29 and our three children callie 5, rakell, 3, and kennadee 13 months are our lives. I am mainly doing this to journal and have a history for my kids nd to write down and remember all the funny little things that they say and do each day. This summer has flown by we are leaving for hawaii tomorrow to go to beccas wedding and we cant wait... however i found out today at kennadees "well child" checkup that she has an ear infection in both ears which should make the flight pretty painful and interesting :( poor thing... Callie starts preschool the day after we get hoome from our vacation and rakell will start preschool this year. So the afternoons around here should be fabulous if i can get kennadee and mia to sleep during school. callie is on the competition dance team again this year and rakell is going to start taking dance as well, and they will continue to take gymnastics so needless to say itsshaping up to be a busy yearfor us. the girls started playing with all the snakes in our yard this year which i cant evenbeleive i couldnt hold one if i tried its nuts. anyways i am going to try to keep up with this and atleast have a short entry each week. but aloha hawaii here we come!!!
